The Danger of Mistreating the Church of CHRIST

Over 15 years ago, my family and I suffered a lot after I spoke terribly against an anointed one from the LORD, who is a missionary, also preaching on TV.

GOD allowed our painful suffering, so that I could learn His Word and respect it!

Therefore, I have the experience to tell you that the consequences for those who offend the Church of CHRIST are very bad!

The Church of the LORD JESUS ​​CHRIST is His beloved Bride, as taught by the Word of GOD.

One day, the Son of GOD will return and take His Bride, bought with His precious Blood, who is under the care of the HOLY SPIRIT here on earth.

It's important mentioning that the Church of CHRIST are not physical walls or temples, they are people who believe in Him, in His Name, in His Word!

See the dangers of mistreating or speaking evil of some servant or anointed of the LORD and the instructions of the Word of GOD in this regard:

1) The person became delayed in life, gets deceit, shame, setback (Psalm 129: 5);

2) It's not our role to gather up the tares, in order not to hurt the wheat. This role will be assigned by the LORD JESUS ​​to the angels, who will do this at the right time, according to His command. How much less hurt someone who believes in CHRIST!! (Matthew 13: 29,30);

3) CHRIST's disciples tried to prevent others from doing a work in the Name of JESUS, because they believed that they had no right to do it. LORD JESUS ​​rebuked His disciples (Mark 9: 39,40);

4) Whoever judges others condemns himself! (Romans 2:1; 14: 4,10-13; James 4:11, 12)

"Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things."

Romans 2:1 NKJV

"Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?"

James 4:11‭-‬12 NKJV

"Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand."

Romans 14:4 NKJV

"But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ."

5) A Christian who turns against another Christian shoots himself in the foot! This is because they are all members of a single Body, the Body of CHRIST, of which He is the Head (I Corinthians 12: 20-22);

6) Moses hurt the rock a second time, disregarding GOD's command.  (Numbers 20: 11,12)

GOD allowed Moses to strike the Rock only once!

The Rock is the Body of CHRIST, the Church, His Bride.

LORD JESUS ​​only allowed His Body (His Church) to be wounded only once!

It's not wise to offend a member of the Beloved Church of CHRIST, that was bought with His precious Blood! It's like trying to touch the apple of His eye!

7) Not receiving Grace and the Good News of LORD JESUS is more serious than the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah! If anyone criticizes the preachings that spread the Good News, they are in grave danger! (Matthew 11:20-24);

8) The Message is very clear:

Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”

Psalms 105:15 NKJV

"Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,"

Colossians 3:6 NKJV

9) Miriam was a prophetess;  however, when she turned against a prophet, her brother, she was stricken with leprosy. The fact of she being a prophetess, this did not exempt her from the consequence of her actions (Numbers 12: 8);

10) A person who practices rebellion or revolt against an anointed one of GOD can suffer a sudden or an unusual death (Numbers 16: 28-33)

Whoever does not repent of sins is under the wrath of God. You risk going to eternal damnation without the forgiveness of GOD.

11) Whoever criticizes, questions disrespectfully, murmurs, complains or intrigues against a leadership, made up of GOD, does not flourish, does not prosper!  (Numbers 17)

12) The religious Pharisee Saul persecuted the early Christians.  LORD JESUS ​​approached him in a vision. See what happened:

As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.  It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

Acts 9:3‭-‬5 NKJV

Saul became blinded at that moment. However, LORD JESUS, with His Wonderful Grace and Mercy, sent a CHRISTIAN to heal him in His Name. Hallelujah!

Persecuting any Christian is to persecute the Creator Himself, Son of GOD, Member of the Holy Trinity who created everything that exists in the natural and spiritual world: FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT, Three in One. Be aware of the danger of irritating GOD in this way!

If you have been persecuting, criticizing or even speaking evil of any member of the Body of CHRIST, repent because the Grace and Mercy of the LORD are still available.

However, there will be the moment that this Gate of Grace will be closed. Take the opportunity and repent now. Ask for forgiveness; be reconciled to GOD and enjoy His Grace and Favor. His plans for you are the most excellent! Take the opportunity while still there is time.

Do not leave anything, nor anyone, nor your own self break the Covenant that He has with you or that He wishes to establish with you. Submit to His Word and be favored by the One who knows everything, sees everything and controls everything.

Don't criticize, close your mouth and pray! Bless and be blessed!

May you receive and accept the Word of GOD with meekness and humility and the blessings, which are in CHRIST, reach your life!

The harvest of obedience, submission to the Word of GOD, are favors and honor. Eternal honor.

13) Peacemakers will be called children of GOD; not those who cause dissension or division in the Church of CHRIST (Matthew 5: 9);

14) It's not pleasing to GOD who attacks the one who wins or gathers souls for the LORD JESUS:

"For he who is not against us is on our side."

"He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad."

15) Observe what comes out of the tongue:

Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health.

Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

16) Why risk being found fighting against GOD!?

And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”

Consequences for those who fight against GOD:

- The enemies of the LORD will disappear (Psalm 37:20);

- Whoever hates the righteous is punished (Psalm 34:21);

- Who will dare try to touch the apple of GOD's eyes? (Psalm 17: 8);

- It's hard to recalcitrate against the goads, that is, it's like kicking knives! The person causes his own suffering!! (Acts 9: 5);

17) a) If you have something against a brother, rebuke him, alone with him!

“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

b) Anyone who spreads a brother's bad reputation gets bad reputation.

Do not go hastily to court; For what will you do in the end, When your neighbor has put you to shame? Debate your case with your neighbor, And do not disclose the secret to another; Lest he who hears it expose your shame, And your reputation be ruined.

But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

18) Our fight is not against people, especially if they are brothers in CHRIST!! Our fight is against demons! (Ephesians 6:12)

19) Naaman almost lost his blessing by questioning GOD's methods! Fortunately, even without understanding, he obeyed! (2 Kings 5:10-14)

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

20) Carnal and infantile believers argue over denominations or differences between brothers (1 Corinthians 3: 1,3,22,23)

21) It's an abomination to GOD (it's something disgusting to Him), when someone incites strife between brothers!! (Proverbs 6: 16-19)

The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

Lord , who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who  does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;

22) a) Whoever does not love his brother is not of GOD.

In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

I John 3:10 NKJV

b) Whoever harms his brother, that is, if he is not loving, he is hating. It is no use saying that he is a Christian. Whoever practices this is still in darkness.

He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

23) The Lord Jesus commanded us to love one another:

And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

24) Do to others what you want them to do to you! (Matthew 7:12)

And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

25) Whoever is in CHRIST does not harm his neighbor because CHRIST is Love:

Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Romans 13:10 NKJV

26) Who will bring a charge against GOD's chosen ones?

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It  is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Romans 8:33‭-‬34 NKJV

CHRIST died and rose again, the One who is Holy and Perfect, is the One who can judge! And He doesn't accuse! He intercedes!

May you and I be broken enough in heart to do the same;  to follow CHRIST for real and without hypocrisy, stop pointing and start interceding for others.

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

27) Who causes scandals or offends:

The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,  and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.  Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!

28) Come on! If we (as Christians) cannot even love the one who believes in CHRIST;  if we can't even close our mouths to others and intercede for them; how are we going to love our enemies, bless those who speak evil of us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat and persecute us?

"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven [...]"

We need to be honest with CHRIST about how our hearts are going towards our neighbors!

We need to clean our hearts!

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
